The key for a better dunking is working out your legs. With discipline and hard work you can become a very skilled player. At beginning it might be difficult but with time your body will get more force. Dunking will be a natural action.
To achieve the performance of jumping higher you will need to work on your legs strength. There are some exercises you can do even outside the gym. You can do them while you watch TV or while you are waiting for a taxi.
Stand firmly on the ground. Move up and down on your toes. Repeat this procedure more times. This way your feet will become stronger. This will help boost your self confidence.
You also can jump up and down using a rope. Running is also one of the best leg exercises you can practice to get better at dunking. It will also help you to get a better core strength. These exercising you should do outdoors.
Make yourself a schedule and try to respect it. Every day you should work out. If you will skip exercising for a few days you will lose all the work you’ve done until that moment. To be a good basketball player you need to be perseverant. Keep in mind to wear comfortable shoes when you are playing basketball.
Increasing your height will take time so don’t give up! It’s important to believe that you can make it. There for you must boost your self confidence. You will become better at dunking if you work really hard for it!
